Appointments
Consultations are by appointment at the surgery. You can make appointments by:
- Calling at the surgery
- Telephoning the surgery 01243 782955
- Using our Online Appointments service
Note that we do not accept appointment requests via email or fax. If you arrive at the surgery without making an appointment, you will be asked to make alternative arrangements or you may be subject to a long wait.
The Receptionists do their best to satisfy all requests to see the Doctor and you will be given the first appointment available. To avoid confusion, please tell the receptionist if more than one person needs an appointment.
When making an appointment online we cannot always guarantee that the Doctor you are wanting to see will necessarily be in clinic. In the case of annual leave a locum will be covering.
On arrival at the surgery, please report to the Receptionist, otherwise the Doctor will not know you have arrived.
Urgent cases are seen as soon as possible on the same day, but please do not abuse this facility.
If you cannot keep your appointment, please let the Receptionist know as soon as possible. Appointments are in great demand and someone else may benefit from your cancellation.
Remember, if you need advice you can call NHS Direct on 08 45 46 47 at anytime, 24hrs/day.
We can now offer Extended Access Appointments for those who wish to see the Doctor before they go to work in the mornings or who simply prefer an early appointment. Please see the timetable below for times available. Please note that these times may vary if the doctor is away for any reason.
