Home Visits

We provide a home visit sevice if the patient is too ill to attend the surgery or they are completely housebound.

We do not provide a routine health care by visiting at home and can no longer take a patient's travel arrangements into account when deciding if a home visit is needed.

If you feel you may need a visit please phone the surgery before 10.30am if possible. The Receptionist will ask for the patient's name, address, telephone number and a brief description of the illness so that the Doctor can call back and determine the best course of action. The decision as to where the consultation will take place is at the doctors' discretion.

Time is always at a premium and 6 people can be seen in the surgery in the time it talks to make one visit. Please help us manage this scarce resource.
